How many of you are left? I have come across a lot of blogs who have given up or who never even started!
Don't forget: if you don't keep your posts up to date, you will eventually be deleted from the list.
Anyway, today's story is my third Hayao Miyazaki film! In case you couldn't tell, I can't get enough of Mayazaki movies. This one is technically pre Studio Ghibli, but it's been re-released by now.
Today's 2015 April A to Z Blogging Challenge story for the letter N:
Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind
This one was actually a Manga first, also written by Miyazaki-san, and was then adapted into an animated feature film. Not his first film ever, but probably considered by most to be his breakthrough.
Here is the summary from IMDB:
Warrior/pacifist Princess Nausicaä desperately struggles to prevent two warring nations from destroying themselves and their dying planet.
Director: Hayao Miyazaki
Writers: Hayao Miyazaki (manga), Hayao Miyazaki (screenplay)
Stars: Sumi Shimamoto, Mahito Tsujimura, Hisako Kyôda
That's it! Please come back tomorrow.

There does seem to be a lot of people loosing steam, not that I blame them, this challenge is tough.
I haven't seen that one.
This is my fourth year doing A-Z and the first year I will make it to Z! I took a new approach. I started writing my articles on March 1st and just this week finished the first-draft of article Z. I just have a few edits and finishing touches remaining on a few posts. Each morning I just hit the publish button on a post that has been waiting in queue.
I'm still here, Matt! I'm alive and still doing the A-to-Z!
Your posts have been great and enlightening! Many of these stories are unfamiliar to me, but I'm hoping to get to know them better in the near future.
Thanks for all your hard work at keeping your A-to-Z on track!

Hmm, I don't think I've heard of this one before.

The second half of A to Z. Tine to catch that second wind, rest up on Sunday, then its that mad dash toward the finish line!
Running across a blog that didn't even start or that stopped is frustrating. They are missing out on some pretty fine writing.
I don't know this one. My daughter might. She's a fan of this type of show.
I'm still going but struggling with this challenge. I'm getting my posts done, but I'm struggling to visit and comment because my health isn't good. I'm doing what I can though :)

It's a challenge, all right! I'm planning to make it through again this year.
Haven't seen the film about Nausica, but wonder if I can get it on Netflix or online.
Having the time of my life with A-Z. Don't know what I'll do when its over! There are less bloggers now and less visitors to my site too but maybe that's my fault!
I'm still here! And you picked another of my Ghibli favorites. :)
That was one of the first DVDs I owned :) I <3 Miyazaki. Didn't know it was a manga first, though I suppose that makes sense.
Oh and I see you did Mononoke Hime for M!
You are so my kind of people!
Wow, I am so out of what goes on. I had never heard of Miyazaki before. The films sound good.
A to Z has been fun so far.
