A to Z Challenge 2015: H - Heat

H is the eighth letter of the alphabet, which means we're almost third of the way done!

Are you keeping up? Have you missed any posts? I hope everyone is enjoying the challenge, and meeting lots of new bloggers. That's the idea, anyway.

Today we have the letter H. And for my theme, we have another feature film.

With a star-studded cast, and a brilliant script, Heat is a classic 1990s crime drama, that features great performances from both De Niro and Pacino, in the one films they made together that wasn't terrible.

Today's 2015 April A to Z Blogging Challenge story for the letter H:

Heat

Here is the summary from IMDB:

A group of professional bank robbers start to feel the heat from police when they unknowingly leave a clue at their latest heist.

Director: Michael Mann
Writer: Michael Mann
Stars: Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Val Kilmer

That's it! Please come back tomorrow.

NOTE: Today is my day to post at the A to Z Challenge main blog. Please drop by and read my Post for H.

So I have a question :-) Your post is about Heat, but you mention Star Wars. What is the connection? Am I missing something or did you have a Quintessentially Questionable editing moment? :-)

Yeah - what Shawn said.
As for "Heat," I'll add it to my Netflix. How did I ever miss it? I like these actors.

Classic film! One of Michael Mann's best. Shows of his style.

I'm sure I've seen this, but don't really remember it. And I am suspecting your REAL word today is HOAX: saying you are talking about one film, but then talking about another. I'm onto you.

I know I've seen Heat before but cannot remember the details. I may have to watch it again.

Gah! Good catch Shawn. Blogger ate my notes I guess. I'll fix it.

Mann's works are awesome... this is a film that proves it... at my job we were talking about all the films that main part of title is "heat".. think we found 7 total.

Such as classic movie. I remember watching it with my parents when I was in 9th grade. Awesome.

I've never seen Heat in its entirety. Something I should do.

I've probably seen Heat but... I just not that big a fan of Pacino or De Niro.

I saw this once and I agree. It was one of the better movies those two actors did together.

Anything those two are in is good. They can't make a bad movie in my book.

I've never seen that movie but if I did, it would have been because Ashley Judd was in it--which tells you it's far too testosterone-y for me!

Haven't seen this one, yet. But Michael Mann is such a good director I know I will one day. I love how you put "Opinions That Matter" on your site! How did you do that?

I saw "Heat" and got all excited...but wrong "Heat", lol. I'm a fan of the Heat with Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy. if you haven't seen it, don't let SB's name dissuade you... wasn't just another chick flick...it was flipping hysterical.

I loved Heat -- especially that scene in the diner between Pacino and De Niro.

Heat is a great film. Makes you want to be a bank robber and a cop at the same time.
