Elemental, by Emily White: Trailer Reveal

Do you all know Emily? She's been a friend and blogger buddy of mine for years now. It was so long ago I helped her with her query, and interviewed her, I can barely remember. She also has the distinction of having had her cover designed by another one of my best friends and blogger buds, Vic Caswell.

Anyway, Emily's debut Sci-Fi novel, Elemental, comes out May 1st, from Spencer Hill Press, but the trailer was released this morning, just after midnight, and is now here, for your viewing pleasure:

Book trailers are still new for me, but they've gotten so hi-tech. This is the first one I've seen with a real actress. Very, very cool stuff.

When I was a kid watching, 'Star Search,' my dad said the dancers should never dance to songs with lyrics because the lyrics compromise the focus on the choreography.

I think that may not be a bad thing to keep in mind for book trailers -- especially those with narration.

Used to be afraid of 'jacket blurbs'. Now, it's trailers YIKES.

This one is fantastic. Looks like a story I would enjoy, unless of course, Amazon decides it's only available on kindle to people in Lichtenstein on the firth Wednesday in February. Ha!
