Proof of Wandering Around Outside DragonCon Part Deux

This post is going to be the cute post. I'll show you all most adorable costumes, on the most adorable kids, and I won't say much.

This guy is dressed up as a character from some Anime that my daughter and her friend love. I try to keep track of that stuff, because some of them are cool, and I like to try to get into the stuff my kids are into, but I can't remember this one.

This is Dobby and Harry Potter. The costumes are pretty bad, but the photo is adorable because Madison is so obviously ecstatic.

This is Pikachu, from Pokemon. Madison loves Pikachu almost as much as she loves Pandas.

This is Ronald Weasley. It's a girl dressed up as Ron though, and that's just AWESOME.

This is the panda crew. You can't tell, but Madison also has a Panda backpack.

That's it for today. Stay tuned for cooler, and creepier costumes for the rest of the week.

Cute! I don't know who half the people are but it's great!

The characters, not the people, I mean.

I so wanted to go to Dragon Con this year. Alas, it was not meant to be.

I know several of the Battlestar Galactica people will be there. *sigh*

The Ron costume is great. Never would have guessed she's a girl.

Love the pics. Can't wait to see more.

So what was your costume, Matt? :D

I didn't realize so many people dressed up for this event. That first picture with just part of an arrow pointing at her head really made me pause to see if it was added later or was part of the photo. =D

Dressing in costume is so much fun! Reminds me of my days dressing up as book characters when I worked part-time at a bookstore. (Although I don't miss the occasional kid trying to stick their fingers through the eyeholes in my masks.)

@Stina - I was dressed up as a Fat Dad, in my own skin.

Come on Matt! Proud Dad who took time out of his busy schedule to spend time with his daughter.

You mean there are costumes far creepier than Dobby and Harry Potter?
should I go hide behind my stuffed teddy bear again?

Even though the costume wasn't the greatest, I LOVE that somebody dressed up as Dobby. Thanks for sharing these, it looks like your kids had a fabulous time!

If I ever make it to a convention, I am SO dressing up. Even if it's a big-professional-marketing convention or whatever. I'm taking the excuse to dress like an elf, and no one can stop me.

The Panda hats rock.

I bet if I wore one to work no one would say a word...

Your daughters are really cute, Matt.

You are such a great dad to take your daughters out to shows like these. What wonderful memories you are helping to make for them.

I can just hear your girls when they are say 35 or 40..."Remember when Dad took us to DragonCon and Dad made me laughed so hard I sorted soda out my nose?" Those are the things that make life special.

woo hoo--awesome pics (love)!!! The girl as Ron is the best (and so are your kids)!!!

Ooh, you're at DragonCon? Did you see Sam Sykes? or Diana Gabaldon?

These are ADORABLE! I love the girl who dressed up as Ron :)

At least you can identify the costumes. I take pictures and don't label them, because I have no idea what I took a picture of! I'm still amazed at how much work those people go to for this convention.
