Ghost Medicine by Andrew Smith

I'm being tricky today.

I'm actually not writing about this here.

I don't really "review" books over here anymore.

Actually I don't really "review" books at all.

I'm a writer, not a critic.

But I do recommend books that I really loved.

I just don't do it here.

I do it: here.

You are so a writer AND a critic. And a damn fine one.

Hah! I don't know about that. But thanks.

I'll have to go check it out. Just started following your blog. I'm a fellow writer too, can't wait to read more. ;)

Great book by a great author. Check out The Marbury Lens, too. Fo sho! And his blog is great, too.

From your post/review I'm convinced writers make better critics. Now copywriters ... we can barely finish books let alone understand 'em.

BTW...this is your post, right?

Have heard a lot about this book. Will need to get a copy of it.

Fine. I'll go THERE. :)

Heading over! I'd much rather get a recommendation from a fellow reader/writer/blogger than go by newspaper reviews (which often seem to ride the same bandwagon) or people I don't know on Amazon and such.

I loved that recommendation. It obviously came from the heart.

I see they have the book at my local library...
