HAPPY BIRTHDAY LENNY LEE!
I'm sure most of you know Lenny by now, but if you don't, let me assure you that you are missing out. Big time. Visit his blog and become a follower, now please. It's not my place to tell you anything about Lenny's personal story here, but I will say that this is the smartest, bravest, friendliest, most inspiring young man that you could ever meet.
Lenny turns eleven years old today and he already wants to be a writer! How cool is that? He's already quite good at it and he especially writes wonderful stories about animals. Directly to Lenny (assuming he eventually finds the time to make it here, which I wouldn't blame him if he didn't) I would like to say, HAPPY BIRTHDAY LITTLE DUDE! You're officially not a kid anymore. Eleven is an awesome age and I really hope you enjoy it! I especially hope you have a great time with your family today and I hope you enjoy lunch and the movie with Alex.
You inspire me daily to be optimistic, to love life, to care about animals and the planet, and to be so thankful that I have the privilege to write.
