so, basically, when Jesus took on human form he went through kenosis? Is there a word for when he took the form of God again, after Ascension?

I think that's how I understand this word.

It was such a self-less thing to do, and to such benefit to mankind. I for one am grateful for kenosis!

At first I thought it was going to be related to the Atkins diet. Ketosis or something like that when you deny your body carbs. But a good "Jesus" post is in line with most blogging people.

The most famous passage regarding this concept is in Philippians. I teach a Bible study at my church, and our Sunday School is studying Philippians right now. Great choice!
