It's so easy to become this way, harder to get out of it.

I use this word in real life from time to time. Yesterday I was very jaded and took the day off from commenting. Today I am making up for it.

My grandmother always said that bored people were boring. I guess that would apply to jaded ones as well.

I get jaded about my writing some days. It usually doesn't last long.

I find it interesting that the word's origin stems from overindulgence. How interesting!

When I stepped away from social work it was because this word kept ringing in my head.

This can happen as we get older. We try hard, at the Means Ranch, to get out and about to new and different places :)

'Bored by continued indulgence'. I'll take a shot of that.

I wish I could have just a little indulgence. Not enough to become jaded, but just enough to keep things interesting. :)

Yeah, I hear you. I think I took off from bored, slid through jaded, and landed on cynical quite a while ago.
