Oh man! I just recently saw this quote and repeated it to my husband. A whole theological debate ensued. I quoted dead people. It was awesome.

I love Dr. Raymond Moody's classic book LIFE AFTER LIFE... it speaks directly to this. He collected experiences from people who clinically died and were brought back to life. Their spiritual experiences -- hovering outside their bodies watching -- are remarkably similiar.
