Hi. My name is Matthew and I'm a blogaholic.
I love it that even on the morrow after election night, when I have so much I would love to say, but will not do so here, I can use one of these posts to make fun of myself instead.
Today I am on Step Eight.
Make a list of all persons I have harmed, and become willing to make amends to them.
Well the main people I have harmed with my writing and blogging are the literary agents I queried before I was really ready (see the label queries/rejections), who therefore had to endure my ignorance, and the other bloggers I used to bother with my shameless self promotions in the comments. So yeah. Sorry about that.
I won't really be making any amends to them. Except maybe to keep writing, improve my craft, and perhaps one day be good enough to get published. Maybe.
Soon I may share about Step Nine.
Disclaimer: This post is satirical. It is not meant to offend anyone, or to belittle the integrity of 12 Step Programs anywhere, which have saved countless lives since their inception.

heheh, I was wondering when you were going to continue with these this morning! HA! I remember those 'shameless promotions'. Man, they ticked me off. But that was because I didn't know you very well then. If you did them now though, I woudn't care less! ;o) How you feeling? Cold clearing up?
Yes, we have at least four years to look forward to of almost nothing getting done because no one will work together on anything. Sometimes I am happy that I don't live there anymore.
I'm just stoked you said "the morrow"
heh heh! Yes you will (get published) you shameless self-promoter, you!
The agents will get over it!
When I first glanced your mug, I thought it said Meddling Blogoholic.
I need more sleep!
I'm with you about the literary agents and me improving my craft. Serves them right. ;)
Oh that's right, you have stopped with the promotion of your blog. I used to think you were crazy doing it because linking takes time--but I guess you were just copying and pasting the HTML tag in the comments. :)
I didn't get a shameless promotion. :-(
(J/K)
Are you at least feeling better??
Yes, I am Jen, thanks!
Oh...the shameless promotions. I forgot about those. It used to crack me up every time you did that.
I missed all the shameless self promotions! Darn! :-)
Take care
x
Yes, I've got a pretty shameful list going myself:)
Umm, why are so so freaking funny? This is hilarous (and again, no disrespect to those who truly need the 12 step process).
Ha ha!
if it makes you feel any better, you never bothered me with your self promotion
I guess I missed your self promotion stuffs.
Feeling better?
LOL
And I'm sure agents have seen worse. :)
Hah, I like this. Lovin' the mug.
oh, I forgot you had elections. Hope your guys won. Although in politics they are all more or less the same.
Great post! Love it. I particularly like your disclaimer too. You're posts are always fun. :)

Those poor agents, sloshing their way through the slush pile. I know I've added to their workload too over the past year. Hopefully next time will go smoother.
Still liking that coffee mug :) Glad you feel better!
How fun LOL.
Oh, that reminds me; I can list you on my resources for query help.
......dhole
If that is the worst thing you do to an agent, I think they'll be satisfied.

The incarceration existed that their open changes did, and that they should raise it in base of the important definitions only as they should have governed at the advisor.
I love your comment Anon, even if I have no idea what you're talking about.
Hey, you've already made amends to all those agents, by helping other writers improve their queries before foisting them upon said agents.
Probably a little late to make amends for the shameless self-promotions, though... Oh, well. LOL!
I'm loving these posts. *grin!*
