My Philoshophy: Part Three

Love doesn't weigh a thing, but hate is so heavy it can crush you; don't carry it around.

Great sentiment--and great if you can live by it. Although, honestly, I think love is sometimes heavier than anything else, but it's worth bearing. I guess it depends on how you define "heavy"!

And apathy looks light, but it's really full of hate and heavy as shit.

I'm loving your philosophies, Matt. I have one. Don't sleep in or else Blogger will unschedule your post. Hmmm. I wonder if I can get a t-shirt made with that on the front. :D

I've never hated anyone. There are certain people I don't like, but I've never been consumed with hate. Love though? So many, many layers...but worth it.

This is very true. True hatred is poison.

Awesome philosophy--this is so true and I wish more people lived by it.

Keep these coming! This was a great one to hear on my 21st wedding anniversary.

(And I can totally sympathize with Stina L. Blogger loves to unschedule my posts while I sleep!)

Dig it, dude. I can never understand people that hold grudges and walk around with so much hate in their hearts. Maybe that's a younger person's game. As I approach 30, I've found I let a lot more things roll off my back. It takes a lot of energy to lift all that hate, and I'd rather spend that time and energy looking at the positives in this life.

That's so cool. It sounds like a famous quote! Hate weighs so heavily on a person's soul, doesn't it?
