Fatty Bolger Part Deux

So I mentioned yesterday that Fatty Bolger is back home and safe and sound. He is not, however, very happy or fully healthy yet. Here is a photo of him with his poor little shaved forelegs:

He has to be confined to my oldest daughter's room so that we can be certain that he is using the litter box properly and regularly and that he is eating right and getting his medicine. He is not very happy though being separated from his sister and old lady friend. Serves him right a little for being such a fatty.

I'm only kidding. He actually seems mostly better, but is still on a heavy regimen of medicine. Luckily my daughter loves him very much and is helping out a lot because he needs the liquid twice a day and Mom and I can't always be there.

The bottom line is that I'm pretty sure he's going to be okay - even if he has to look a little pathetic until his hair grows back. I wonder if he can clean himself properly without the fur on his arms there?

Thank you so much all you guys for all your support and positive thoughts and energy. Frisky thanks you too.

NOTE: Yes that is my 14 year old daughter's cheesy leopard print fitted sheet exposed in this photo. No I don't have any idea where Mom got it or why it is in use in our home.

Meow!

I'm struck by how bright his eyes are! I've never seen cat eyes so vivid before...not that I'm a feline expert or anything. (he does look a little miffed in the picture, doesn't he?)

Glad he's home and springing back to his former self!

Awww Frisky looks so adorable and yet so sad with his shaved paws!! I'm so glad to hear he is ok and hopefully will get better soon. Thank you nice daughter for looking after him - you can have your room in leopard print galore for being so nice to Frisky - bless!!

Take care

LMAO at that leopard print sheet!! Got some wild things living in your house I guess. ;)

That's great Fatty news!! You could get him some braclets for his little bald legs. I'm thinking something gold to exentuate his regal coat.

So glad your kitty is doing better! We were at the ER Vet over the weekend for our labrador, Sargeant Tator-Tot (yes, that is his real name). So I completely understand how an animal hurting is really a family member hurting:(

PS - Tator is doing so much better - Yay!

Aw, poor kitty. Glad he's feeling better.

Oh and please, who are you kidding with the 'it's my daughter's sheet thing? Just admit you like to sleep on the wild side. ;)

OMG. Good one Shannon! If only I were still slim enough to fit on a twin. Alas!

Awww... Fatty's back!!! I'm glad he's home safe and sound. :) Why do they do that to the paws? Is it to make us pity them that much more? So sad.

I have to say that this cat totally has the face of a real person! It is freaking me out! I am thinking it might really talk english when you're not around, but with a really high-brow southern accent :)

hysterical.

I'm glad he's healing nicely though.

Due to the power outage I couldn't post, I'm glad Fatty is better. He doesn't look happy but at least he's fighting for it. Also, love the sheet!

So glad to hear he's home where he belongs. I was laughing at the fitted sheet commentary. Hilarious.
