Middle Grade Madi

So, I'm still struggling to get back into the rhythm of blogging, but apparently, ever since Natalie Aguirre interviewed her at Literary Rambles yesterday, my daughter has caught the bug. She's got another post up, and would love it if you would stop by and say hi.

Now, I do need to work with her on what constitutes a proper book review, and what is just kind of a plot summary/short synopsis, but that's okay. She's just getting started.

I was finally able to leave a comment! I could NOT get Literary Rambles to pull up yesterday. Kept getting a warning. Finally got through this morning.

So glad Mady is back to reviewing. I think short reviews are fine. A lot of people do them that way.

Hope she liked all the comments. Everyone was so excited about her interview. And yes, the blog was down for a bit yesterday because GoDaddy got hacked and a bunch of blogs/websites went down.

I'll second Jessica!

Oh good for her! And honestly, short reviews are the best! (Says the Queen of Long Ones.)

Oh dad, her book review seems great to me. But I have read The Uglies series many times over so I'm partial to them. Plus I like the short reviews and she gave all the main points anyways.

I love how you guys are on this blogging road together!

I thought she was off to an impressive start.
This from someone who doesn't review books on her blog because it looks hard...;)

Aw, that's so cool. I'm on my way.

Looks like Mady's dad isn't the only writer in the family. Her start is very impressive! ;)

Mady's lucky to you as her PR guy!

Oh how cute! Good for her getting going with book reviews and blogging! My daughter blogs but won't give me the URL... erm... It's possible I'm raising a rebel. I have no idea where that trait might have come from...

Make sure you tell her to explain -why- she likes or dislikes something. None of these Amazon "it was so awesome!" "reviews."

I did read her interview and check her posts, but I was running short of comments yesterday. Actually, my younger son interrupted me while I was checking out the Vlad review by going off about vampires.

Mady did a great job on her interview at LR! I was sad to hear tho that her school doesn't have author visits. I know you will change that when your book hits the big time! :)

I'll swing by her blog too. :)

You must be so proud of your daughter, Matt!!

Super cute! Kids rock. My son decided to write a novel a few days ago. He's written two chapters of about 3/4 page each. It's awesome. And a fantasy of course!
